Banana Almond Kefir Smoothie

I discovered that kefir tastes awesome in smoothies!  The sour tangy flavor adds the perfect balance to the sweet bananas. You have to try it sometime!  This smoothie is great for breakfast.

Banana Almond Kefir Smoothie Recipe

1 c of unsweetened kefir (you can buy this at Trader Joe's next to the milk and yogurt)
1 1/2 bananas
1/4 tsp of almond extract (I added this instead of vanilla extract b/c almond reminds me of almond chinese desserts and drinks)
Add agave nectar to taste (I add about 1 tbsp at a time to taste)
A few ice cubes
Mix in blender or magic bullet
